Ticinum

From the majestic Swiss Alps to its confluence with the Po River, the Ticino flows through lands rich in history, culture and traditions. It is a long journey that embraces unspoiled landscapes and fascinating cities, including Pavia, custodian of one of its most evocative legends.

The story goes that on Christmas night in the year 999, when the old Roman bridge had collapsed, a mysterious man dressed in red appeared to pilgrims trying to cross the river in thick fog, offering them a bridge made of steam in exchange for the first soul to cross it. But the Archangel Michael intervened, convincing the devil to build a stone bridge, and cunningly got a goat to cross first, thus mocking the evil one. Since then, on misty days, the bridge seems to re-emerge from a distant time, shrouded in mystery and magic.

The products of the Ticinum line celebrate this extraordinary journey, encapsulating the essence of the lands crossed by the river. A bitter and a gin that combine the assertive character of the mountains with the softness of the plains, offering a sip that chronicles a journey between past and present. Ticinum is not only a tribute to Pavia, but to all the lands that the river caresses, bringing with it stories, flavors and emotions to be shared everywhere.
